Summary

A unique, crowdsourced photographic biography of the Beatles. Fronted by best-selling author Barry Miles - the man responsible for introducing John Lennon to Yoko Ono. The People’s Beatles was launched to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Fab Four’s last ever live performance. In less than 6 weeks over 1000 images were submitted from over 15 countries across the world including UK, France, Italy, Spain, US, Australia and New Zealand. Taken together, the photographs chart the astonishing journey from unknown Liverpudlians to the most popular band in the history of music, with pictures spanning the Cavern Club to the birth of Beatlemania, the American tours through to Magical Mystery Tour, to their final album Let it Be, and beyond.
